It is common for tourists to enter Turkey through the western region, like Istanbul. However for us, we had to take the back door after Iran: Northeastern Turkey, and we saw the endless grass pastures, open horizon, peaceful lakes, free-running horses, wild flowers, gorgeous mountains.
It was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. And we so fell in love with it.
